RCIIS is registered as an Independent, Not-For-Profit educational institute. In previous years, the school trained hundreds of travel and hotel industry professionals both from Canada and all over the world. Since 2003, however, the school has chosen to focus on international education programs. New programs were developed to fill the specific needs of international students, helping them to meet the challenges of today갽s ever-changing labour market. The institute갽s curriculum is based on several years of research and design, and features original and innovative teaching methods in a positive learning environment. In addition to teaching necessary communication and business skills, our training helps students to become more self-confident and to get established more quickly in their chosen careers.
We are located in the thriving city of Toronto - the third-largest financial centre in North America, and a truly international city rivaling London and New York for its diversity, cultural attractions, and business opportunities. RCIIS has been operated from the heart of downtown Toronto since May of 2005. Located in the exciting and prosperous neighbourhood of Yorkville, the school is just a few minutes갽 walk from the city갽s central subway station, making it easily accessible from anywhere in the city. Also located less than half a block from RCIIS is the Toronto Reference Library. This huge building is a very popular and comfortable place for students to study or work, and all the materials and services are free to use. For entertainment, the area is surrounded with a huge variety of restaurants and pubs of all types, movie theatres, and stores like Versace, Calvin Klein, and Hugo Boss. At times, you may find some of the world갽s biggest stars in this neighbourhood, attending parties or doing some shopping of their own!
